I’m a costumer all the way… actually, I don’t really like jewelry. I spent about 7-8 months finding my outfits.. no store, designer or website was spared. I didn’t spend more than a month looking for my jewelry, they were all either from Tanishq, Bholasons Jewelers or Carat Lane.

Dholki ceremony

Mansha looked simply elegant in this navy and cream Anita Dongre suit worn with a braided low bun.

Sangeet Night with interesting competition

Flashing an interesting #Gamasutra hashtag, the Sangeet night had one of the most unique games we’ve ever come across. So when guests entered the farm they were given either a red #gamasutra stripe or an orange stripe. Those with orange were only served alcohol from the #Ga side of the bar and those with red were served drinks from the #Ma side of the bar. There was a counter on each side which kept a tally of the number of drinks/shots consumed. . and the side with the higher number wins. How cool, isn’t it?

wedding day

We’re totally swooning over Mansha’s offbeat Seafoam color choice for her wedding lehenga. The colourful, English and absolutely pine-teresty decor blew us away for this wedding. The color theme for the floor was peach, cream with hints of gold, ferns and wood details. Above all, we loved Mansha’s English-style bun done with simply lined baby’s breaths on the bottom.

As the bride revealed, “I was adamant not to wear red or pink, I had already worn a subtle and delicate peach lehenga for my engagement. So for me it had to be either a light green/ blue or a gold , but when I tried this meerschaum stunner in Sabyasachi I knew it was the one The only problem for me was that the dupatta was too heavy so I made some a lighter one too and I finally sported the lighter one.

day of receipt

Mansha sported a traditional red Ritu Kumar saree for her reception ceremony of the day which was apparently her MIL’s choice. She looked effervescent donning minimal jewelry and that vibrant smile.

Party after the wedding

The after party was basically a drunken college night out to wrap up #Gamasutra week. For the after party, I wore a black halter dress by Anita Dongre with a sexy pair by Jimmy Choo.

Mansha and Gautam’s sweetest love story

“I was still in college at the time and he had just quit his job at Barclay and was venturing into the world of startups. Gautam was looking for bloggers and came across my old blog. He got in touch and the first day, we talked for 17 hours non-stop (no exaggeration). Here I was telling this stranger stories that I had never shared with anyone before and vice versa. It lasted two weeks, then he told me invited to lunch. The first time we met, we knew somewhere deep down that this was it, we were going to end up together. We decided to slow down at the time. But in January 2016, he had a big party for his 25th birthday and at exactly 12 o’clock he picked me up on the dance floor and took me to this quiet place and got down on one knee We officially got engaged on February 10, 2017 And we got married on Christmas Eve, December 24th.
